What’s in the soap?

I can’t and won’t go making any kind of medical claims, as my soaps haven’t been through the rigorous testing it takes to prove such benefits. However, the ingredients used in our products have been tested, so this page is just to educate on that information. Maybe you’ll notice some of these things yourself in our products, but that will be up to you to decide!

Shea butter is known for its conditioning qualities, moisturizing, anti-inflammatory properties, easing of sunburns, wrinkle, stretch mark, and acne reduction, and so much more. This is one ingredient you should definitely google to learn some more for yourself!

Beeswax lubricates and insulates basically, offering a protective layer to retain water and prevent drying out.

Olive oil causes our soap to take quite a long time to cure so that it can harden enough to last, nut it is a great moisturizer, soothes certain skin conditions, is full of antioxidants, is gentle on the skin, and has been linked to helping with acne.

Sweet almond oil is high in vitamins E, D, and A, as well as fatty acids perfect for soothing dry, flaky, or otherwise irritated skin.

Avocado oil is a great conditioner due to containing a lot of the same properties as sweet almond oil, but it can also help protect from UV rays.

Coconut oil is a great cleanser, and you may have read about the benefits elsewhere of using it to cook with, but it makes a greater moisturizer in certain amounts, has been known to be antimicrobial, and is rich in Vitamin E and antioxidants.

We also use ingredients like activated charcoal or fresh coffee grounds for exfoliation, clays for detoxification without losing out on moisture, and so on.

All of our fragrance and flavoring oils meet IFRA standards and are phthalate (cancer causing agent) free. Many are either entirely or partially derived of essential oils.
