This worsted/aran weight yarn crochets really well and knits beautifully. It is hand dyed, in 100 gram skeins coming in at 220 yards in length. It is made from 100% Highland Peruvian wool.
These birds are the European bee eaters. They are only one of millions of both animal and plant species that will die off forever if we totally lose our honeybees and their pollinator off shoots. I won’t give you the whole spiel about our entire food structure and planet wide ecosystems collapsing, but little things like planting pollinator friendly plants or putting out a spoon with sugar water on it to rehydrate hungry bees can make even a slight difference.
