Oswald’s Bear Ranch in the Upper Peninsula was one of my absolute favorite places to visit as a kid. We got to pet bear cubs and feed them fruit, while also learning about the rescue black bears living on property as they were rehabilitate following a variety of tragedies. This soap honors them, the bears that can’t make it on their own but offer great learning opportunities. This soap smells like the forest in a gentle and not overly spruce kind of way. Topped with bergamot and subtle citrus, followed by geranium, lily, and rose, with a base of patchouli, vetiver, and tonal beans.
